Wickes Raise £500,000!

Wickes findraising reaches £500k
Partnership extended until December 2009!

Colleagues at Wickes smashed their end of 2008 target four months early, by raising £500,000 in August this year!

Director of Retail Development Tim Matthews presented Sir Ian 'Beefy' Botham with the cheque for this mammoth amount at the Windsor leg of his walk against childhood leukaemia.

Colleagues have shown remarkable dedication with their fundraising this year, raising record amounts of money in stores for the research into all blood cancers.

£500,000 has been raised since the partnership began in October 2006. The success of the fundraising has led the relationship being extended for another year until the end of 2009!
