Bananaman Chase

Conditions of entry

By entering the race you agree to abide by the conditions of entry and any race instructions given to you by the organisers and officials of the Leukaemia Research Bananaman Chase.

You must be 16 years old on the day of the race to enter.

Your entry fee is non-refundable under any circumstances if you are accepted to race.

We are unable to accept entries on the day for health and safety reasons.

You must write your name and details of any health problems or medication you are taking on the reverse of the race number. The race number will be sent to you prior to the event and must be worn on the front of your shirt during the race.

You are strongly advised to consult your doctor prior to undertaking any exercise programme.

Only finishers will receive a medal and goody bag.

Only those wearing the official race t-shirt will be able to start in the front line of the main race pack.

For reasons of safety no entries are allowed from people on roller skates, scooters, bicycles, in wheelbarrows, pushchairs, or any other mode of transport. No pets or dogs are allowed to accompany runners except for registered guide dogs. Please advise us if you are a visually impaired runner.

By entering the race, you give permission for the free use of your name, voice or picture in any broadcast, telecast, advertising, promotion or other account of this event. These may be used more generally to illustrate the kind of event that Leukaemia Research organises and the people who get involved in the organisation.

In the event of the race being cancelled due to unforeseen circumstances, we will endeavour to contact all runners prior to the race day where possible.
