Bananaman Chase events 2008
The 2008 Bananaman Chase 10k Events at Kempton Park and Willen Lake were a huge success, a big thank you to everyone who took part.
Our top ten bananas, the bands and some brilliant supporters added to the fun by motivating our army of runners. The bananas highlighted the importance of events like this by sharing their personal experiences of blood cancers.
The first ever Junior Bananaman Chase 2k was great fun as children and their guardians gave the 3 bananas they chased a run for their money. The junior run really added to the family atmosphere of the day.
In 2008 we raised a fantastic £100,000 to fund our life-saving blood cancer research and we are hoping this will be bigger and better in 2009.
